Curator-Led Tour with Irina Gorlova of the Exhibition “Anya Zholud. Not the Horizon”

During the tour, you will learn how the exhibition was conceived, which themes were particularly important in Anya Zholud’s art, and why the works on display were selected for the exhibition. Irina Gorlova will share her memories of the artist and speak about her creative method, character, and place in contemporary art.

The tour will offer a deeper understanding of what inspired Anya to create individual works, trace the evolution of her artistic language, and reveal how personal experience and the surrounding reality found expression in her art. You will also learn more about works from 2000–2001 that have not previously been shown to the wider public. This is a rare opportunity to discover lesser-known aspects of the artist’s practice and to view her legacy through the prism of the exhibition curator’s personal experience.
