Music Programme for the Exhibition “Olga Chernysheva. From the Leaf”

Five musical evenings will become a sonic continuation of the exhibition, revealing the central themes of the artist’s work — fleeting time, the poetics of everyday life, images of childhood, the bagatelle-like quality of things, and the experience of the pure creative gesture.

Olga Chernysheva’s watercolours, graphic works, photographs, and book illustrations capture the “leaves” of life: moments, fragments of memory, states of being, and barely perceptible changes in light and air. The music programme invites audiences to hear these intonations through works by composers from different periods — from the Baroque to the most recent contemporary music.
